By supporting impactful projects, we continue to uplift communities, promote menstrual hygiene awareness, and emphasize social responsibility.
Supporting Life-Changing Initiatives: Our 2024 Partnerships
Throughout 2024, Goonite Hygiene partnered with foundations and initiatives dedicated to improving access to menstrual hygiene products, empowering young girls, and supporting communities. Our goal was to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has the resources and education they need for a healthy and confident life. Here are some highlights of our recent partnerships and the impact they’ve made:
1. IMA Foundation
Our partnership with the IMA Foundation allowed us to extend the reach of Besense Sanitary Pads to women and girls who would otherwise struggle to access menstrual products. Together, we provided sanitary products and organized health talks focusing on menstrual health and hygiene. Through IMA Foundation, we contributed to a community where young girls are empowered and informed about managing their menstrual health confidently and comfortably.
2. Pad a Girl 2.0
One of our proudest contributions this year was to Pad a Girl 2.0, a project aimed at tackling period poverty and ensuring young girls don’t miss out on school because of a lack of sanitary products. By supporting Pad a Girl 2.0, Goonite Hygienes distributed Besense Sanitary Pads to hundreds of girls, along with health resources that underscored the importance of menstrual hygiene. This partnership enabled us to create awareness about period positivity and hygiene while giving girls the tools they need for self-confidence and empowerment.
3. Pad Her 3.0
In collaboration with Pad Her 3.0, we took another impactful step in fighting period poverty. We provided sanitary pads and conducted workshops that taught young girls about menstrual health, helping break down stigmas associated with menstruation. Through this initiative, we’ve reached communities where access to hygiene products is limited, reaffirming our commitment to addressing period poverty and empowering young girls to live confidently without being held back by a lack of resources.
4. Makoko Outreach
Our Makoko Outreach is a project particularly close to our hearts. We joined hands with local leaders in the Makoko community to provide Besense Sanitary Pads and health education sessions for women and young girls. This underserved area, one of Lagos’s most vibrant but economically disadvantaged neighborhoods, was a focal point for Goonite Hygiene this year. Through our outreach, we supported hundreds of women and girls by offering them the products they need and empowering them with information to manage their hygiene and health with dignity.

December represents a time of gratitude, community, and giving back. At Goonite Hygienes, we are excited to use this month as an opportunity to further support the communities we serve. We’re thrilled to announce our plans to extend our partnerships and focus on more community outreach and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives throughout December.
